No guilt, do as you like for 2011!!

Thanks Cindy. I wanted a different colourway for these little folk. Its all down to values and shapes isn't it, rather than colours.

Yes Yelena, time, especially for artists, is a prerequisite for happiness.

Minimal features does make it easier Tracy. Then the values help shape the expression and face.
I hope you do create some, they're great fun to do!

Thanks Pat, I will get them out of my system soon. :)

Hedera, they're all so unique and just seem to 'happen' without much planning on my part.

Rhonda, I like the mouthless version too. There's a sense of mystery to them. I've put a few for sale to my newsletter subscribers last night.

Yes, they do have that older look Sue. I rather like it using golds and ochres. And yes, I'm getting better at slicing out my time and not compromising. Merry Christmas to you as well. I hope you get lots of time to spend at home.Jeanette Jobsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08935974758134419990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20414780.post-33953081823679845592010-12-20T12:14:33.599-03:302010-12-20T12:14:33.599-03:30These have a sort of "old world" quality...These have a sort of "old world" quality to them, Jeanette, that I love. I LOVE them! You could market them in a line of cards - or just sell them on your site. This time of year, especially, your time is always taken by someone/something else that seems so important at the time. Maybe the lack of features makes them less demanding when it comes to drawing proportion/etc makes them mindlessly freeing.
