HOwever, a little of your warmth wouldn't go amiss. :)

Its something I've been trying lately Cat and I like the effect it gives. It really makes the colours pop against the dark.Jeanette Jobsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08935974758134419990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20414780.post-15000678279863297632013-03-18T11:27:29.237-02:302013-03-18T11:27:29.237-02:30Interesting that you started with black. It really gives the right feel, a great contrast with the light coming on the curtain.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04924888247313797968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20414780.post-9979802928777312302013-03-17T14:49:38.251-02:302013-03-17T14:49:38.251-02:30This is beautiful and you have captured the feelin...This is beautiful and you have captured the feeling perfectly.

I miss spring :(Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17511653763073963362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20414780.post-7578117540092677542013-03-17T08:39:15.689-02:302013-03-17T08:39:15.689-02:30Its funny how images bring memories isn't it? ...Its funny how images bring memories isn't it? The window and a breeze catching the sheer fabric is evocative to most everyone at some point.

I love looking through old photographs and may do justice to The Catch at a future date.

Thanks for taking time to comment.Jeanette Jobsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08935974758134419990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20414780.post-36935532461342905832013-03-17T07:25:01.807-02:302013-03-17T07:25:01.807-02:30I love the stories that you tell, both with your a...I love the stories that you tell, both with your artwork and with the words you write. This piece is so pleasant to look at and brings to mind all kinds of thoughts and stirrings of the heart. Funny how an open window can affect us, isn't it? I also like "The Catch" that you just posted! The colors you used really make it expressive. And the lines moving throughout hold the viewer for an extra long time. Very nicely done!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05600673251180423439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20414780.post-34744275189955419752013-03-16T22:51:10.129-02:302013-03-16T22:51:10.129-02:30Actually its acrylic, rough and loose over black c...Actually its acrylic, rough and loose over black canvas.
