A new member of the Rodent Wall

I break rules.  Like the one that says you're not allowed to paint on the walls.

In my studio, over time, various little rodents are appearing in various mediums on the wall next to my work table.  This wall has been classed as the 'Rodent Wall', though other species may appear eventually.  They're a little like thinking out loud.  I don't know when one will take up residence around the telephone socket, they just appear randomly.

This little field mouse came in today, scouting out a home for the chillier nights of autumn.  I think he may hang around for awhile.  I hope the other residents adjust to sharing their space.

does tripod ever try to attack the wall? ;)

I was going to ask the same question Jennifer :-)

Love the rodents!

They are rather, aren't they Billie?

Lydie, every now and then the mood strikes to add another. :)

Jennifer, Tripod isn't allowed in my studio or only to the doorway, and unless its moving he responds to nothing visually.

Glad you enjoy them Sue. Heaven knows why I put them there! And see my response to Jennifer re Tripod's response. :)

Love them, you'll just have to watch they don't nibble the wires!

If they are already scouting for warm winter diggs, we must be in for a chilly one. I had one in my studio corner a couple years back. Never actually saw him but he ate paper corners. He left when it warmed up thankfully. Love your little mouse family circling the outlet.

Oh gosh that is both adorable and brilliant! My mum would be in terror if I did such a thing to my wall haha. It's quite inspiring though... :)

No fear of that Gayle. They are quite appealing. :)

Carrie, I wrote that tongue in cheek. There aren't actual mice in the studio. The barn may be another story...Mice in the studio would be my worse nightmare with all the paper and supplies in there! These are only images that I add to the wall to amuse.

Lieutentan, its my little creative outlet that overspills onto the wall. I have no one who will complain about or be afraid of them. I think of them as my little 'studio pets'. :)

Absolutely charming! And has been said, a delightful addition to the others. They bring a smile to my face and I hope they do for you each time you look at them.

So glad you love your mice as I do, feeding mine every day through the kitchen window, much to my cat, Nula's frustration. I think I must draw mine too :) Love the idea of drawing them on the wall !
