Shell Game - the real part 2

I've struggled with the filming of this tutorial and thank you for bearing with me.  This section is upside down and may not be worth showing in terms of lighting but I did promise it so I guess I'd better share it. The next should have all the bugs worked out in terms of lighting and video positioning.  I jump ahead of myself sometimes.  Ok, lots of the time.

My apologies in advance for the poor lighting.  Think of this more as a little conversation with me in my studio with you sitting next to me as opposed to any kind of tutorial.  Here it is, warts and all.  The image above is the watercolour in its current state.  Final stages will be detailing and adding deeper values to give it more definition.

Your videos are really cool Jeanette. I don't think I could paint and talk at the same time. Like others I like hearing your voice. But these videos are spot on and informative - I love to learn new approaches, looking closely at what brushes you have, etc. Next best thing to being there. And a lovely painting you have going there - shells are so difficult, you make it look easy.

Thanks Gary, but I have a long way to go yet in terms of getting them to do what I want. And talking and painting is difficult, as you can tell by my ability to fall down rabbit holes during it! :)

Nicely done! This is making me want to get out the watercolors :-) Your skill and patience with the media is impressive, especially when seeing you actually painting.

These are great, Jeanette--you should do the tutorial videos all the time--it's wonderful to watch you at work. I love it!
