A painting when I can

So much for the 'Painting a Day' concept for me. I do a painting or drawing when I can. This was done yesterday of two small winter squashes from the garden that I painted while I waited for supper to cook.

Its amazing how you can find a few minutes here and there to fit it in.

I've had two squahes, a tiny watermelon, and an avocado squash on my kitchen table to paint since last Saturday. I haven't had time yet, but I will have to soon since my daughter keeps eyeing the watermelong to eat. Better get going!

I know what you mean by accomplishing things a few minutes here, a few minutes there...it can be done if you want it bad enough. I usually get a lot of my spinning and blogging done that way, around 5 school kids, goats, sheep, alpacas...you get the picture ;) Rural life is less stressful for me and I enjoy it out here in Alberta. I like your blog and have it marked.

Yep, its a challenge when they eat your still life, isn't it? :o)

Thanks Andrea. Its the only way to exist - snippets of time and rural life. I'll check out your blog.
