Sunday catch up

Yes, I have a number of pieces at varying stages of completion in the studio and work on them as time and mood allows.  Some are more portable than others, like the coyote, who I took on a little road trip to the living room this afternoon to work on while I waited for bread to rise.

He's coming along and I'd like to have the piece finished this week if I can.  Meetings and work and other commitments may make that difficult, but you never know when I'll find time to add a bit more.

Meanwhile, today was the last day of the Recreational Food Fishery here and I went to the harbour in Flatrock to watch the boats and gulls.  Although the sun was warm, the fog lurked on the horizon and nudged the shoreline bringing a chill to the air but more cod for the freezer.   I took this little video with my cell phone to give a sense of the colour and sound of the ocean at my doorstep.  The quality is poor unfortunately and small, but you get a sense of what I was watching. This still photo gives a better view.
